The DuBois Area Historical Society was founded in 1982 to promote the preservation and appreciation of the history of the DuBois Area, including the City of DuBois, Sandy Township, Falls Creek, Reynoldsville, Sykesville, Troutville, Luthersburg, Penfield, and surrounding areas. The Society's interests include the area's schools, churches, entertainment, business and industry, lumbering, mining, architecture, farm life, genealogy, fire depts. and anything which pertains to the history of the DuBois Area and its residentss. |
